October. This is a calendar page from Creative Memories. I used Stickapotamos stickers (the pumpkins) to create the Os in October and then used the square punch to put a couple of random pictures on this page. The block of pumpkins at the bottom are from a stamp I bought at this little stamping store by my apartment and then I used watercolor pencils and a blending brush to color in the stamp.

In eighth grade, I went on a school trip to Washington, D.C. I put the pictures into an album last year and did quick layouts. The backgrounds are all 12 x 12 paper. I liked this page for the way the pictures were laid out and the lettering. The lettering was done with rub-ons. I'm starting to love using rub-ons for scrapping.

Jamestown. This is a page from my Washington, D.C. album. The layout is simple (yet again) but I liked the title. I really only posted this page because of the title.

In my early, early days of scrapbooking (yes, I use it as a verb), I did this page. The design is ultra-simplistic but it sums up the theme of the album that it fronts. This is the opening page from my album devoted to my two dogs, Taco and Chip, and their adventures with our family. I take this album off the shelf often to smile and remember.

Here's the picture (sorry for the flash) that I have on the first page of my Taco and Chip album. The boys jumped into the river when someone threw a rock and I liked how the sunlight caught on the water, just above Taco's head (on the right). It's a simple picture but it makes me smile.

This page is from my early days of scrapping. I used a template to draw the border and I stenciled the letters on the page. After all of the pages I've done, this is still one of my favorites. I think part of the reason I love the pages so much is because of the pictures. Taco and Chip were in a costume contest one year and my mom made them cowboy costumes. The costumes were fantastic!

This layout is from my album about my two dogs, Taco and Chip. These are all pictures of Taco outside, having fun. It is the same circle pattern I used in the Vegas album. I've only used this pattern twice, but I really love it.

Vegas
There are sixteen different page layouts on here from my Vegas albums. The trip actually filled three different albums. I posted pictures of the finished layouts. The ones I posted are some of my favorite layouts.
I do pretty simple scrapbook pages. I like to get the memories onto the pages so that I can enjoy looking through the books of pictures.
I hope you enjoy. Comments are welcome for the designs.

Luxor. This is the opening layout to my Luxor section of my Vegas album, volume 1. Dana and I stayed at this hotel. I used textile stickers to create the top and bottom borders. I used vellum tags for the title. The letters are Creative Memories stickers. I liked the colors for this page as well.

King Tut. Dana and I went to the King Tut museum at the Luxor. This is the opening layout for that part of the trip. These pages are in my Vegas album, volume 1. I made the title with my dye-cut machine. The borders are textile stickers by Creative Memories. The journal boxes have the descriptions of the displays written on them.

Coke. The title for this page is actually a postcard I bought at the store. The image on the right hand page that runs with the border is from a magazine I picked up in Vegas. I think I just love these pages because they are Coca-Cola.

MGM. Again, simple pages but I like them. I like the theme of stars for this casino/hotel. Dana is the star of the second page, fidgeting with her camera.

Excalibur. What I enjoyed about these pages are the strips of paper with the vellum squares. I used these strips to create titles for the page as well as journaling boxes.

New York. These are the opening pages to my New York section in the Vegas album, volume 2. I just enjoyed the shoe prints up the middle of the layout. Most of the images here are postcards, however I do like the picture I took. It's on the upper left hand corner of the right hand page.

Standing Tall. Although the pages look complex, these pages were very simple. I used Simple Sets paper and tried to make the right hand page look long vs wide. Since I had so many images of the Statue of Liberty at New York, Las Vegas, I figured they should get their own set of pages in my album.

Flamingo. This is the opening pages of the Flamingo section of my Vegas album, volume 2. I liked the journal box on the right hand page. The title and the stars were made by using my dye-cut machine. I liked how the blue allows the pink to pop out at the person looking at the pages.

Circles! I got the idea for the borders from a page pattern book by Creative Memories. The image in the top right hand corner of the right hand page and the image at the bottom of that page both have a circular pattern to them in the picture. I cropped the picture of Dana and the Flamingo sign as circles to add to the circle theme.

Flowers - Purple. These pictures were taken at the Flamingo in Las Vegas. I posted this picture to highlight what I did on the left hand page. I had a 4 x 6 picture that I cut into 4 - 2 x 3 sections and matted each of those sections for a column. I liked how it turned out. The background paper is a embossed paper. The pictures on here were originally only 8 pictures. The top was created by using Creative Memories quick strips.

Paris. These pages were fun to make. I enjoyed the borders and using squares to highlight the pages.

Bellagio. This is my favorite casino/hotel in Las Vegas. These pages are fun and simple. I used Creative Memories stickers to add some geometric shapes to the page.

Hearts. This page is from the Bellagio conservatory section of my Vegas album, volume 3. I liked how the hearts anchor the page and I really love the picture in the bottom left corner.

Butterflies. These pages are very simple. I used the background paper and just put the pictures on the page. I like these pages because I really like the photos. The corners are just dot stickers. The butterfly stickers are ones I bought at Wal-Mart.

Perfection. I loved the pictures I put on this page. The images are from our time at the conservatory at the Bellagio. The title was done using a rub on and I attached a few metal flowers using different colored eyelets.

These pages are simple. The pictures are postcards because we were not allowed to take pictures of the actual paintings. The Monet exhibit was a highlight in our trip to Vegas. When doing the pages, I didn't journal my own thoughts, I used quotes from Monet to go with each picture. The pages are simple.
